Every time Raja Bhoj tries to posses the throne, one-by-one each angel comes forward to explain the virtues of Vikram and the reason why Raja Bhoj can’t posses the throne as he lacks those virtues. However, the throne is protected by 32 angels, who are the holders of the 32 virtues of Vikramaditya. On the other hand, Sinhasan Battisi tells the story of Raja Bhoj, who is in search of throne of King Vikramaditya. Being forewarned, Vikram beheads the Tantric and save Betaal and himself from the evil intentions of the Tantric. On their way to the Tantric, Betaal tells Vikram a story and the plan of the Tantric. However, the 25th time, Vikram isn’t able to answer the question Betaal satisfied with the fact that he stumped the king, willingly goes with Vikram. The Tantric asks Vikram to capture Betaal, Vikram manages to capture Betaal, but on being captured Betaal posts a question to him and if he is answers the question then Betaal would escapes captivity, he manages to con him 24 times and escapes on every occasion that Vikram.

Vikram and Betaal revolved around the characters of Raja Vikramaditya and a ghost named Betaal and a witch doctor (Tantric). The fantasy show is an amalgamation of the stories of Vikram and Betaal and Sinhasan Battisi.

The principle characters of Betaal and Raja Bhoj are played Sandeep Anand and Siddharth Arora respectively. SAB TV, India’s favourite family entertainment channel has launched a new comically enriched historical-mythological fantasy show, Betaal and Sinhasan Battisi.
